Belgium – While he may be best known for enrolling his sons in an all girls’ school, Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Friedman is taking on a new adversary: Antwerp’s Jewish mafia.

According to reports on Belgium news site Neiuwsblad.be, (http://bit.ly/169rndW) Friedman has filed a criminal complaint with a Belgian court of appeals regarding the closed investigation into the eight year old murder of Moishe Yitzchak Noe, who was shot and killed in the early morning hours of November 18, 2004 while he was unloading groceries from his car.
While it was initially believed to be a case of anti-Semitism, that theory proved to be groundless and police and prosecutors eventually dropped the case.
“Moishe was eliminated by a mafia network that has established itself in the Jewish community of Antwerp,” claimed Friedman. “These are dangerous and influential people who are involved in the laundering of dirty money from drug trafficking and the black diamond trade and involved in other criminal activities. Moshe Noe himself was involved in this network of money launderers. He knew too much about all sorts of nasty things and therefore they had him silenced.”
Friedman further contends that the so called Jewish mafia used its’ connections to intervene into murder of the 24 year old father of four who served as the secretary to the Pshevorsker Rebbe, Rabbi Leibish Leiser.
“The Jewish-orthodox mafia subsequently used all its influence with the public prosecutor so that the investigation of the execution of Moishe Noe should be halted,” said Friedman.
Friedman claims to have been told by one of the higher level members of the crime ring that they were responsible for Noe’s death but was not prepared to divulge any names until the investigation was officially reopened.
Believing that there is evidence of prosecutorial misconduct in the case, Friedman has filed a criminal complaint with the Court of Appeals. Ben Zaijrman, a spokesperson for the Prosecutor’s Office deemed the complain “inadmissable by definition” and suggested that if important information were to surface, the case could potentially be reopened.
It’s about time to admit this psycho into a psych ward.
This guy is really nuts! I was a bit shocked when he took upon himself to tackle the school systym, but start up with the Mafia, i guess he wants to go “al kiddush hashem”
Everything he’l do for an ounce of media attention
If true, would this be surprising to anyonne?
One major part missing in the article is that the public prosecutor confirmed that the investigation will be reopened. It’s only a question of who is taking over the investigation whether the court of appeal directly or the normal court.
That’s also how it was reported in the original report in dutch.
Will this lunatic stop at nothing for 15 minutes of fame? He has no credibility in that country or any other for that matter. Doesn’t even have his facts right. Mr. Noe was not 24, neither was he tangled up in any mafia business. He was a simple man; spent most of his time with the rebbe.
What a psycho!!
Maybe the Mullahs will vouch for him, but otherwise – everyone should just ignore him.
Maybe the mafia should look for him?
He needs to be silenced.
Aside from all that we already know about this nutcase, we are now educated about his immaturity. This cheap shot is intended to draw focus onto someone else, to be viewed as a rogue by the community. Unfortunately, the public is a bit more intelligent and won’t fall for his sandbox diversion efforts. Why does the media pay any attention to him?
Can you please tell me why they refer to him as “Rabbi”? Just because he has a beard and is dressed in black?
If he is a rabbi anybody is!!
This sounds a lot like what happened in Los Angeles in the 1960s. Yidden smuggling and selling drugs then diamonds, money laundering, beating people up and murder. Rav Daitch being whisked away to Israel on Shabbos, etc. It all sounds familliar.
Whatever came of the investigation into the murder of the L.A. Mayor’s aide and Council in the Ohrbach’s parking lot at Wilshire & Fairfax?
