The pilgrimage is held every two years.

Belz is a small city in the Lviv region of Western Ukraine, near the border with Poland. It became a center of Hasidism in Galicia.

Belzer Hasidism originated in 1817, when Rabbi Shalom Rokeach was inducted as rabbi of Belz and the town became home to a Hasidic dynasty of Rokeach.

Great event. Does anybody know if there is a permanent community of the Belz hasidim that live there full time?
In Uman, there is a community of 1000-1500 of Rabbi Nahman followers. Most of them came from Israel. They established different business and brought their families to Uman

The pictures looked like something you would see pre war. Let’s hope for the day when these mayssim will be rolling their way under to Eretz Yisrael and there will be no need to visit these G-d forsaken countries any longer.
