The NATIONAL REVIEW ONLINE (http://bit.ly/12tj6wv) reports that Paul continues to speak glowingly of his trip, which included a cross-section of Evangelicals and Jews, all with a shared hope of seeing Paul emerge from his father’s shadow on issues pertaining to Israel.

Paul’s trip was organized by well-known Evangelical leader David Lane, who is credited with orchestrating Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee’s surprising upset in the 2008 New Hampshire GOP primary, and referred to by some as the “Evangelical kingmaker.”

Lane said he knew that if he could get Rand Paul to join him on the trip, that “his life would change.”

With an eye on a possible Rand Paul run for POTUS in 2016, Lane also enlisted key political operatives from early GOP primary states, including South Carolina GOP Chairman Chad Connelly, Iowa GOP Chairman A. J. Spiker, and veteran spokesman for the Rev. Billy Graham, Larry Ross.

With his roster set, Lane went in search of funding for his trip.

At last year’s Republican National Convention in Tampa, Staten Island Rabbi Nate Segal—a noted liaison between Republicans and the Orthodox Jewish community—arranged a meeting between his friend Rand Paul and several black-hatted Orthodox Jews, among them a doctor and pharmaceutical executive from New Jersey, Richard Roberts.

Dr. Roberts was so impressed by Rand Paul’s views on Israel that he contacted Lane and agreed to underwrite the trip.

Sen. Paul says the “spirituality” and the “historic linkage between Christianity and Judaism” he experienced on the trip has had a lasting impact on him.

David Lane says the trip has left him satisfied, and that Rand Paul is now “a believer.”

Hashem should preserve us from goyim who start making statements about the “historic linkage between Christianity and Judaism”. This never ends well for the Judaism part.

“If Rand Paul is set on cutting spending to Israel, his hope did not get off the plane when he got to the holy land.”

It is rather odd that even though former Prime Minister Olmert praised President Obama for his military aid to Israel, the so called ‘Frum’ community despises the President, while they’re gaga over Rand Paul who wants to cut aid to Israel. But, that’s all right, because Paul is white.

Rand Paul is very dangerous. He is a libertarian and old fashioned isolationist who advocates ending all ties and aid to Israel, which he and daddy despise.
