Ramapo – An anonymous mailing accusing the Preserve Ramapo party of being anti-Semitic and urging support for the Town Board incumbents has some Jewish residents upset.
The mailing accuses Preserve Ramapo supporters of being “opposed to the shuls (synagogues) required for the expanding Orthodox population in the villages.”
It charges that rules against overnight parking in Wesley Hills discriminated against Orthodox Jews, and that yeshivas were unwelcome in some villages.
