Speaking at a Bayit Yehudi faction meeting, Bennett stated that “this is the time to say this is our land and it’s not for sale.”

Bennett added: “Everyday mothers and their children in cars are hit by rocks on main roads in Judea and Samaria.”

The Bayit Yehudi leader said that there is no difference between Israeli residents of Tel Aviv and West Bank settlements, and that the IDF must understand that it is also responsible for protecting the 400,000 Israelis living in Judea and Samaria.

Bennet’s comments came after Peres on Sunday, speaking at the culmination of the World Economic Forum held at the King Hussein Convention Center on the Jordanian side of the Dead Sea, hailed the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative – amended from a two-state solution on the pre-1967 lines to one that is based on that line and includes minor land swaps of equitable value.

“Friends, we and our Palestinian neighbors must return to negotiations as soon as possible and bring peace. President Abbas, you are our partner and we are yours. You share our hopes and efforts for peace, and we share yours. We can and should make the breakthrough. We should not permit the hurdles to overcome us. History will judge us not by the process of negotiations,” Peres said.

Of course that’s what happens, because the Arabs don’t want a “peace”, they want the whole thing.
The Rebbe was saying this 40 years ago nonstop, while Rav Shach and others where in favor of Oslo. We knew then, but we see today who was right.

Land for peace with Egypt worked pretty well and so to did the peace agreement with Jordan which also entailed some minor land concessions.. Millions of Arabs in Judea and Samaria will not disappear.

“… You share our hopes and efforts for peace …”
Mr. President, when has Abu Mazen ever expressed such sentiments, let alone acted on them? At best, this is wishful thinking.

Finally, someone smart and who sees what happens when we give up our homes so that Muslims can make it into a terrorist safe-haven.

It’s about time I heard such a comment from an Israeli politician. Giving away land, starting from the Sinai Peninsula and until Gush Katif all caused extra karbanot. I just hope they don’t give away and part of Yerushalayim!!

    To #10
Open your eyes and don’t be stupid!

To All other guys – which Rabbi are you talking about?
Every chosid thinks that his Rabbi is only “the Rabbi”, Satmar Rachmasrivka or Nadvorne?
    So write the name!
If he doesn’t have one – write his nick name like “this and this Rabbi”

Talk to the people in Sderot and Ashkelon and ask them how their lives were affected by giving Gush Katif to the terrorists.
