POLITICO.com (http://politi.co/18wZoVK) is reporting that, Weiner, who formally entered the race last week, is now drawing 19% of the vote to Quinn’s 24%, up from April numbers of 15% and 26% respectively.

With a crowded field still apparently playing a major role, neither Quinn nor Weiner appears poised to reach the 40% necessary to grab the nomination in the first round of voting, which would ultimately result in a head-to-head run-off.

According to Marist, Quinn’s lead is larger should a run-off be necessary, with Quinn garnering 48% to Weiner’s 33%.

What Wiener did is as bad as what Quinn does.

It’s only matter of time before that is equally as acceptable.

The question that ourcommunity will face: Will the new mayor be a gay person or someone that floundered on the internet. My vote would be for the one that is married and a biological parent.

We should vote for the best candidate that will put the needs of the city first and not the special interests of many competing groups. That candidate is going to stay away from the media circuses, the pandering to unions, special interests and self-absorbed machers. What’s left, the bottom of the barrel. So sheeples, stop complaining you have seen the enemy and he is us.
