Alberto Nisman said Wednesday that Iran’s government is setting up intelligence networks in Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Guyana, Surinam and Trinidad and Tobago.

Nisman says the main person responsible for this operation is Mohsen Rabbani, the former cultural attache at the Iranian Embassy in Buenos Aires at the time of the 1994 attack on the AMIA Jewish Center that killed 85 people. It was Argentina’s worst terrorist attack.
