“I am against bringing the Arabs into this story. If I were an ultra-Orthodox Jew, I would be embarrassed to be compared to an Arab,” he told Al Monitor in an interview on Thursday.
“I can negotiate and argue with the ultra-Orthodox because they are members of my nation. On that issue I am not embarrassed to say it; regarding the attitude to the army and the state, I have an ideological argument with them,” he said. “But I don’t have expectations of the Arabs. I don’t want an Arab in uniform. His entire worldview is that the IDF is the army that occupies Palestine. That’s not appropriate for the army,” he continued.

Spot on.
Whats with sharing the burden? is this fair that only chariedim have to be in harms way against there will?
“I don’t want an Arab in uniform.”
Excuse me, but some Arabs have been volunteering to serve in the Haganah and then the IDF since 1948. The Druze even submit to the draft. How about a little hakarat hatov?
we Charedim also know that the IDF is an occupational army that shouldnt exist in an ideal world.
The arabs are in the kenesseth and supreme court. Yet no chareidim are in the supreme court. They hate the chareidim more than the arabs. They don’t allow chareidim to build yet allow arabs to build all over homes. The goal of the secularist is to destroy Torah. We here in America as frum jews can stop their evil plan. We can threaten to outvote all pro israel politicians unless half the american money goes to yeshivas. I understand there are going to be massive rallies around the globe to help our brothers in trouble in israel

Oy how Satmar Ruv was right on, his argument would have stood with the Tziyonim.
