KFC Threatens Legal Action Against 'Hitler' Chicken Restaurant Photo: Andrew Spooner TwitterThailand – Kentucky Fried Chicken on Friday told The Huffington Post it may take “legal action” against a fried chicken shop in the Thai capital after it opened a shop named Hitler with a logo that resembles KFC’s much-recognized branding, only with Hitler’s head grafted onto the body of Colonel Sanders – complete with bow-tie.

“We find it extremely distasteful and are considering legal action since it is an infringement of our brand trademark and has nothing to do with us,” The Huffington Post was told in an email.

The author of “Footprint Thailand Handbook,” Andrew Spooner, first snapped a photo of the restaurant and tweeted it to his followers in May, remarking: “Very bizarre Hitler Fried Chicken shop in Thailand. I kid you not. Complete with pic of Hitler in bow tie.”

CNN has reported a trend in Bangkok of ‘Nazi chic’, consisting of pandas, Teletubbies and Ronald McDonald metamorphisising into kitsch, cartoonish versions of the Nazi dictator.
