New York, NY – Former Gov. Eliot Spitzer says he’s coming back to politics. He tells The New York Times ( HTTP://NYTI.MS/182XKDI ) he’s going to run for the office of New York City comptroller.

In an interview Sunday, Spitzer says he’s planning to start collecting the signatures he needs on Monday.
Candidates for citywide offices like comptroller have to have 3,750 signatures from registered voters in their party by Thursday.
Spitzer, a Democrat, stepped down from the governor’s office in 2008 over a prostitution scandal.
Spitzer tells the Times he hopes city voters would be willing to give him a chance.
He’s not the only politician who’s looking for a second chance. Former Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner is running for mayor. The former congressman left office two years ago amid a scandal over his tweets.
Don’t talk about teshuvah regarding these two and second chances. If these two deserve a second chance than the CEO of Enron, who also violated public trust, deserves a second chance and Bernie Madoff deserves a second chance. The two of them are being backed by the medi-a-crity who feel they have a sacred duty to continue the corrupt and morally bereft policies toward destroying every semblance of decency built into us by our ancestors and to create a give away of money, not their money, to everyone demanding it. They won’t promote a single parochial school policy, but let a rainbow flag fly in their face and it becomes a Hindu cow. A woman’s body is her own, but her baby is a token in a game of chance, maybe she will, maybe she won’t carry it to term. Entitlement which is institutional enslavement, grows faster than job creation or work and work is becoming a part-time reality instead of a career possibility, unless you want to sell swamp land to seniors in the form of annuities or insurance or uninsured and risky investments. Elect either of these two and you should be ready to curse yourselves.

This just goes to show how pathetic our society has come. People don’t care bc they see nothing sooo terrible about snapping lewd photos and sending it to female strangers or in this case frequenting women of ill reputed. Give it time these things will be a reason to vote them in!! I can just hear it now people saying oh wow he’s so opened minded. Or so free!! That’s soo special! These guys shouldn’t be elected dog catcher of ny!! I’m not saying don’t forgive. Just based on a persons actions it says something. And these people have no place in public office anymore. A public position isn’t just about looking good or if you can sound savvy. It’s called integrity and they don’t have it!!
When do Weiner and Spitzer go into oblivion. They just keep reappearing and show no remorse or shame. Both are arrogant and seem to feel that the public is stupid enough to return them to office. Let’s hope that the electorate will wake up and ease these creatures into retirement, far, far away! New York City has enough problems without these two resurfacing.
