I am the anonymous who left the comment at 7:26 am. A lot of racist Americans will simply never vote for a “person of color” or a Jew, regardless of the fact that they are upstanding people. I would like to see a Jewish or person of color become President one day instead of the “mainstream” candidate who is either racist, anti-semitic or both. This mainstream candidate may never publicly utter a disparaging remark, but it will become evident, by the way this person governs the country in ignoring the needs of Jews and persons of color. If Obama becomes President and is fair to the Jewish community, he will be respected by the Jewish community. The same goes for any other ethnic group. That is the way it should be. Just do what is right by the people.

Right on 7:59 AM. If it came down to it, I would pick Obama over the rest of the pack. He is a decent and honest man. And even if he is a Moslem, which he is not, who said all Moslems are bad? Look at the one from the subway? It seems that the only way to satisfy all you Jews from Boro Park is to promise no more indictments.

Anonymous 7:26 am said: “His name is of African origin, he is not a Muslim.”

I thought Barak is Hebrew (for lightning)?

And Hussein (his middle name) is Arabic.

But then again, Israel is in Africa (or Europe, or Asia – it’s actually the center of the Universe), and there are Arabs in Kenya, so I guess you’re technically correct.

So if IOWA is any indicator, which it never ends up being one, we will have an election between a galich and a shwartze muslim.

As a fellow Jew you dissappoint me. As a fellow human you disgust me.

Barack Obama is an African American. His name is of African origin, he is not a Muslim. It is a known fact that Obama and Dick Cheney share ancestors. This can be verified. Obama’s mother is white and his father is African. He is a man of decent integrity. The voters in this country will decide on election day, who is better to lead this country based on the content of one’s character, and not the color of one’s skin. Gut Shabbos.

    “Clinton finished?”

Bill clinton in 92 lost iowa and new hampshire.

John mccain won iowa in 2000 and george w. lost.

Clinton and edwards or both in for big fight with obama and have a long battle ahead.

Done is chris dodd who just withdrew. as are mick gravel andf dennis kucinich who were done before they started. Almost done are joe biden and bill richardson either one who will become the dem VP slot (though biden would be a great president too).

On the GOP side, romney is the one in the biggest amount of trouble while mccain and huckabee are very safe through super tuesday when one of the 3 will become all but the nominee.

Thompson is a big disappointment and should probably get back the law and order set before bill waterson takes over his job.
Duncan hunter is toast. Ron paul actually beat rudy giuliani and it remains to be seen what his next move is. Giuliani is in huge trouble caus the media are going to have a field day eating him with the fact that he came in 6th and that paul beat him. he has to come in better in NH and must sweep florida and two otehr states or he is so done.

Huckabee’s win tonight is considered a landslide, he is unstoppable now with huge momentum behind him. don’t underestimate him, he has a great sense of humor and is very shrewd.

while Mccain is a great politician and an honorable man, but voters are getting tired to see the same old guys running, America is looking for new faces.

so its going to boil down to Huckabee, Obama, or Edwards. Clinton is finished.

I never understood why the primaries aren’t all on the sam day. The candidates give so much time to IOWA and New Hampshire for no good reason.

What has this country come to? The choices are vetween a shwatrze, Hillary, a galach, a muslime etc…. oh gevald!

The Iowa cacus means nothing. It will boil down to Hillary for the Democrats and John Mcain for the Republicans. I will vote for Mcain as he will be good for Israel.
