Brooklyn, NY – New Revolutionary Medical Assistance For Frum Community.

    1

Brooklyn, NY – Community advocates from the Community Choices Assistance organization have spearheaded an effort to bring medical services to the neighborhood, home to a large Hasidic Jewish population. “The average family has about 8 kids and with so many kids the odds of problems is usually more and as an organized community we have found that there is a need in this area. There is no pediatric specialty at all in this area.” said one of the founders of CCA.

The organization established a relationship with the premier pediatric hospital in New York Schneider’s Children’s Hospital, successfully bringing a specialty center to Williamsburg.

This Sunday, January 6th, CCA, in conjunction with Schneiders, is conducting a mass symposium in Continental Hall, in Williamsburg. Their mission is to spread the word about the new center, but mainly to introduce their new, revolutionary initiative bringing 24 hour doctor phone access. Participants who register at the event will be provided with an 800 number to call at all times, for use for any medical inquiries at all times.

With this remarkable new project, those who personally sign up on Sunday will have access to a doctor any time their own physician is not available. Here is no HMO or insurance problem as is the case in many other hospitals; money is not an issue at Schneiders. Schneider’s is the only rated pediatric hospital actively welcoming frum Yidden with both offices in Williamsburg and near Borough Park/Flatbush.

Several doctors from the hospital will be there to address a diverse range of vital issues. No one should miss this event – this could save your child’s life!
