Israel – Hundreds of haredim prayed outside the Jerusalem police headquarters on Friday night in protest of the arrest of two haredim who were charged with assaulting police, Israel Radio reported.

The two men, Joseph Braun and Jacob Krischavski, were charged with aggravated assault of a police officer, obstructing a police officer and rioting.

Call them thugs, animals, etc. The tragedy is that hundreds of young Chareidim are treating them as heroes and davening on behalf of their release from jail. It really says something about the total collapse of midos within the chareidi tzibur and their mindless hatred of anything associated with the medinah. Hopefully, these two and any others associated with the attack will be convicted and sentenced to long prison terms so as to send a message. It would be a real Kiddush hashem to see them suffer in the same way they have caused such physical and emotional trauma to the family of the young soldier they attacked for no reason.
