In Manhattan on Sunday, Rev. Jacqueline Lewis of Middle Collegiate Church wore a pink hooded sweatshirt and told her congregation, “We’re going to raise our voices against the root causes of this kind of tragedy.”

Protests are planned around the country Sunday, a day after a jury found the former neighborhood watch volunteer not guilty. The case unleashed debate across the U.S. over racial profiling, self-defense and equal justice.

After the verdict, some angry protesters in Oakland, Calif., broke windows, burned flags and started small street fires. In Florida, about 200 demonstrators marched in Tallahassee carrying signs that said “Racism is Not Dead” and “Who’s Next?”

Too bad we can’t ‘defend ourselves’ against these thugs also!

Where was the same indignation, when Lemrick Nelson was initially found not guilty at a New York State trial, in the death of Yankel Rosenbaum? Why weren’t the same individuals who are now demanding federal civil rights charges filed against Zimmerman, also demanding the same for Lemrick Nelson (y’mach shimo levracha), at that time? I have a sickening feeling that our dear, esteemed leader, is going to pressure his meshpucha, Holder, to have such charges filed. This time, instead of going up against the state of Florida, Zimmerman will be outgunned by the Justice Department Attorneys, who will ensure that there are those who are picked on a new jury, with revenge in their minds, and not justice!

Is David Dinkins, I mean the Police in each of those places standing by to let them vent their anger? Whats going on?

Let them wear hoodies all they want in any color they like. Who cares? But vandilizing the USA because of the verdict? And the authorities are standing by? Geeez.

If anyone was in any doubt as to why Zimmerman was frightened for his life, the behaviour of Martin’s fellow citizens explains it all.

don’t be fooled folks – the media will have you believe that our country is angry about the not guilty verdict. To prove the point, look at Yahoo news’ comments on the news items discussing Zimmerman. Every single comment on that lib site is angry at the blacks and libs who are milking this case for all it’s worth making into a civil rights argument. The racial tension this president and attorney general are lending to the picture are nothing short of poisonous.

So I guess if I showed up and demonstrated in favor of the verdict, these black rioters would prove to me that racial violence was, indeed, not dead.
