The TIMES OF ISRAEL (http://bit.ly/10WGohL) reports that the pashkvils that have popped up on walls in the ultra-Orthodox neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo instruct those fearing the “word of God” to take action against their “oppressors,”—specifically the “evil” government and the Hardakim.

Cryptic messages and phone numbers linking to unsuspecting parties printed on the posters have resulted in speculation being posted on popular Orthodox Internet forums that whoever drew up the bills may be either attempting “parody” or seeking to malign the ultra-Orthodox community.

One number seeking “donations” on the posters connects to a religious school located along the West Bank shrine of the Tomb of Rachel, which, when contacted, had no knowledge of the matter.

Advocates for freedom and religious equality, Hiddush, have lodged a formal complaint with police concerning the posters.

Hiddush CEO Rabbi Uri Regev said, “Whoever incites to kill soldiers is a terrorist in every respect and that’s how we should treat him.”

Are you taking sides by using the term Hardakim (instead of the proper Hardalim) when talking about the activities of the “VusVussim”?

Whether or not they’re fakes-and they probably are-the fact that there’s any doubt at all shows just how low charedism has fallen.

When are our Rabbanim, Agudath Israel and other major organizations going to condemn the campaign against Chareidi soldiers? Their silence serves only to condone it.

If you learn Tenaach, you would see that this attitude, was the Norm, during Bayis Rishon. Dovid Hamelech even hung the grandchildren of Shaul because he suspected that they might eventually cause an uprising.
During these sad days, when we are yearning for the days of the Beis Hamikdosh, we should not be criticizing the way of life that existed during those times.

I hope the authorities don’t wait for a tragedy before responding. There are enough weirdos who will take this seriously.

This poster is beyond pathetic. It doesn’t deserve to be taken seriously at all. Moreover you will never ever find any legitimate organization to condone murder. Whoever posted it is a very very sick person.

It’s obviously a joke. Kanoim never heard of hara-kiri (which is the joke of “chardakiri”) and don’t have people sign up for things via email.

Why this soldiers need to come directly to a jewish neighborhood where they not welcomed? Why they need to hurt our jewish brothers feelings? All gdoilim & rabbunim are against this soldiers NONE of them condemned the last week stories

Fake or not, the point is that they very well could be real and they reflect the danger that religious extremists of any religion pose. Once someone decides that a particular group is halachically amalek, they will then feel an obligation to kill them. If a charismatic leader comes out with such an opinion, it could lead to disaster. The sickest part is that people who claim to be erlicheh yidden even have it within them to consider hurting another yid or any person for that matter. I commented awhile back that eventually charedim will start using violence against the rest of us. My comment was not received very favorably on this site. Sadly. I guess I was correct.

Why notcomments about Harav Cohen the head of Shas who called Torah observant Jews who happened to wear crocheted yarmulkahs Amalek? Isn’t that an indirect way of saying they should be killed?

These posters were obviously put out by Lapid and company, who ironically resemble Amalek more and more nowadays.
While of course, I don’t condone any murder whatsoever, if Lapid would run in to George Zimmerman, and he mistook him for good old Trayvon, I would give a hot Kiddush in Shul.

לקיים בהידור ובנסירת נפש קנאת פנחס של ויקח רמח בידו

Has anyone really read this line? They’re calling for the killing of חרדקים in the manner of הידור? How is one supposed to murder someone בהידור?

Second, what’s with the רמח בידו deal? Is spearing him to death the הידור מצוה?

I can’t even imagine the type of vermin that would put such garbage (not even decent פורים תורה) out in public.

it’s time we realized there are Jew haters watching the Jewish community under the microscope 24/7 …. i am sure the events involving the hareidim’s displeasure of their own in the IDF have not passed their evil eyes …. it is clearly possible that these posters have been planted by opportunistic non Jews ….. it is very difficult to believe a Jew could have done this …. Jews need to get their house in order and realize that they are being watched, constantly ….. any controversy will clearly attract the vultures that surround us ….. all the more reason to create true ahavas yisroel among ourselves ….. if we don’t have any dirty laundry to show the world our enemies can’t use it against us ….. or get involved in it …..

Why are you all shocked. Did not the Chazon Ish and others advocate to israeli frum girls to commit suicide rather than join the secular israeli army. I bet if yeshiva boys start commiting suicide as a way to avoid the draft some charedi individuals may get smart and knock off Lapid instead of causing mass suicides among yeshiva draftees
