Venice, Italy – A court ruled today that Boaz Yonah, the escaped CEO of failed real estate developer Heftziba, will be extradited to Israel.

The court accepted Israel's formal request to extradite Yonah, a request which was conveyed by Israel's Ministry of Justice three months ago.
If the extradition process is carried out as planned, Yonah will arrive in Israel in a few months' time. The court rejected Yonah's request to be released to house arrest in Italy, and left him in jail in Venice.
Yonah fled Israel when his company faltered, leaving hundreds of home buyers in the lurch. [IsraelNN]
