    Courtney BurkeAlbany, NY – Gov. Andrew Cuomo has appointed Courtney Burke as his new deputy secretary for health while choosing an executive from a Hudson Valley nonprofit to take over for Burke as acting commissioner of New York’s Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.

    Burke will replace James Introne, who retired. She is the former director of the Rockefeller Institute’s New York State Health Policy Research Center.

    Laurie Kelley is coming to OPWDD from the Ulster-Greene ARC, where she was executive director for 11 years.

    Cuomo has also appointed Dr. Ann Sullivan, senior vice president of the Queens Health Network of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corp., to be acting commissioner of the state Office of Mental Health starting in November.

    OMH Commissioner Kristin Woodlock is stepping down.
