Igor Kolodezenko faced multiple trials in Novosibirsk stemming from his stubborn refusal to stop publishing an antisemitic newspaper.
Courts handed down slaps on the wrist at first, despite his clear incitement to murder Jews, including suspended sentences and in one case, immediate amnesty in honor of the anniversary of the end of World War II.  But Mr. Kolodezenko violated the conditions of his release so many times that a local court was practically forced to jail him in June 2007, sentencing him to a two years and nine months.

On Friday that Mr. Kolodezenko was being transferred because of his "active political agitation amongst the prisoners." [fsumonitor]
