Passaic, NJ – Three people escaped death early this morning after the car they were riding in plunged off the over pass of Route 21 onto a local street.

The male driver and the two passengers were able to extricate them selfs from the vehicle before Police and E.M.S arrived.
The accident happened on Route 21, the vehicle fell about 15-20 feet to the ground upside down near Columbus And Washington Place. According to police, the driver of the car lost control of the vehicle. The car struck the guard rail, flipped over, took down a tree and fell to the ground. The rear window of the car popped out, allowing an escape route for the aided.
Passaic Fire Department, Sherrifs and Police were all on the scene. The Fire Chief requested a chopper but the chopper wasn't available.
The driver and passengers were transported to St. Joes Trauma Center by Hatzolah Of North Jersey and Passaic E.M.S with Medics. Their conditions are not known at this time. [Passaicnews – Vin News]
