Tyneside, England – A probe is under way following a blaze in a Jewish school on Tyneside. The blaze ripped through the school in Grasmere Street West, Bensham, Gateshead.

Fire chiefs say there were two sets of fire on the ground floor, one in the kitchen and the second in an adjacent room which was slightly damaged by fire.
Watch Manager Graeme Leslie, based at Gateshead Fire Station, said: "The cause is suspected malicious ignition. The police are investigating."
