Brooklyn, NY – Police Seek Help From Public In Search For Brooklyn Thief Targeting Seniors

    Brooklyn, NY – Police are seeking the public’s help in apprehending a shameless thug who they believe is responsible for stealing the jewelry from at least 11 seniors at gunpoint in Brooklyn between July 10th and July 28th.

    The NEW YORK DAILY NEWS (http://nydn.us/17WbXJO) is reporting that police say the hoodlum is described by victims as a short, slim black man between the ages of 18 and 25, who wears a light colored baseball cap, and typically shows his gun and makes a brief statement demanding that his victims hand him their jewelry before is forced to “take it.”

    Police say his victims range in age between 57 and 78, and his attacks have taken place in Canarsie, Flatlands, Mill Basin, and East Flatbush.

    Police say the punk is so brazen that he struck three times on July 24th alone, robbing a woman on Avenue H and E. 55th St. at 3:30 p.m., a 62-year-old woman on Avenue I and E. 53rd St. at 4 p.m. and a 64-year-old man on E. 38th St. near Avenue D at 5:25 p.m.

    Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.

    Now will sharpton protest this is racial profiling claiming that the “hoodlum is described by victims as a short, slim black man” and make a 100 city wide march all across the country.
