    Brooklyn, NY – Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and the United Jewish Organization (UJO) of Williamsburg had a meeting with community leaders regarding large-scale disaster preparedness, in a bid to increase the community's ability to ensure greater security during times of disaster.

    Joseph Bruno, commissioner of the New York City OEM and other OEM officials. David Pollock of the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of NY – actively involved in monitoring the safety of Jewish religious communities and religious sites – and Fred Kreizman, assistant commissioner of citywide outreach for the Mayor's Community Affairs Unit, encouraged all Williamsburg schools, as central organizing points, to be fully prepared with comprehensive emergency plans.
