The photography studio that charged hundreds of newlywed couples for wedding pictures and videos it has not produced [As reported by VIN News] will file for bankruptcy within a week, its lawyer confirmed.

Under the most likely scenario, the electronic data necessary to produce the pictures and videos will be turned over to a trustee appointed by a bankruptcy court judge, said Leonard V. Kaufmann, a Saddle Brook attorney who represents Celebration Studios.

operations and deliver photos and videos in a timely manner,” reads a statement on the company’s Web site, www.celebrationstudios.com. “To our knowledge no photos or videos have been lost or destroyed.”
While Kaufmann expects that the trustee, typically an attorney with no ties to any party involved in the bankruptcy, will distribute the data to the company’s customers so they can develop it elsewhere, he said it is not something that he or Celebration Studios can guarantee.
“There is no such thing as a guarantee,” Kaufmann said. “It is difficult to guarantee
anything. As an attorney, you never know what may occur.”
