Amin Rahman Shakur, an inmate of a correctional facility, sued the department alleging that its practice of providing only vegetarian meals to Muslims—while providing kosher meals to Jews—violated his rights under the Free Exercise, Establishment and Equal Protection clauses of the U.S. Constitution, and the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act. Are you related to Mickey Mouse; from what I hear, there’s a Yiddishe mouse called Mendel-the-Mouse. In your case, having Kosher food would have a triple effect on your GI tract. 1)Gastro-intestinal; 2)General Inductee; 3) Goyishe or,(Goyim) Inductee; As long as we take everything [in life] with a grain of salt and smile about it, it’s OK.
I used to be a senior NCO in a military organization that shall remain nameless. I had several Muslims in my unit. After ordering Halal meals for them, I began to order them for me too, since it beat government food slop. It consisted of nuts and grains mostly. Great for the GI tract if you get the double meaning there.
My father, a Kosher butcher, had a few Muslim customers years ago, well before violence & terrorism were the norm. They were polite & paid their bills! They couldn’t get Halal meat in our town at that time so they bought Schechted meat & chicken.
As long as this guy doesnt take away kosher food from a Yid, I say give him the meals. They’re probably not gourmet anyway, but better than prison slop.
