SEATTLE – Two monorail trains collided on the tracks in Seattle.
About 55 people were on one train and 20 on the other, said a Seattle Fire Department spokeswoman. Firefighters on four ladder trucks were helping passengers down off the tracks across the street from the Westin Hotel, each person was checked for injuries after reaching the ground.
Several blocks of Fifth Avenue were closed after the accident.
