New York, NY - Mayor Michael Bloomberg may have found a new home for his weekly radio show. According to the New York Post, the mayor and John Gambling are headed to WOR-AM.

The mayor has not had an outlet for his radio show since Gambling was fired by WABC and replaced by Curtis Sliwa. It's a homecoming for Gambling who was fired by WOR in 2000. To make room for Gambling, former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani's ex-wife Donna Hanover will leave the station. [ny1]

Imus will [probably] be off WABC as soon as his "Grace" period is over. He has nothing to sell to the vast majority of WABC listeners. He doesn't "Speak to Me" , at least. (he sounds like someone who wakes up at 6AM and realizes he has a job to go to, after spending the night on the town. the ratings will do what [shady]/[inciting] al failed to do!)

good move by WOR.

BTW, George Weber who was fired together with gmabling, just got a job on ABC radio networks. He does nightly news (you can hear him on Laura Ingrams show.

Bring back Curtis & Kuby! I have never seen 2 people with such opposing viewpoints get along together so well and debate their positions in a friendly way and with a sense of humor. We can all learn a lesson from them.

I found John Gambling to be one of the most level-headed personalities on talk radio. You were given a dose of local NYC news like no where else. I missed him when he was laid off. I'm tuning into WOR for his program.

Imus stinks - he is crass and not for the average intelligent morning listener - Gambling was a bit boring, but did not insult your intelligence
looking forward to hearing him again

Good riddance to Donna! I'm a WOR devotee & she gets on my nerves. But I didn't hear she's out.

WABC made a big mistake by bringing back Don Imus and getting rid of John Gambling.
