Manhattan +Armed Robbery+ An armed robbery by 2 H/M wearing FED-EX uniforms and armed with guns in a commercial establishment in the jewelry district at 580 5th Ave and West 47th Street, perps tied up the emplyees and robbed the jewelry store on the 6th floor from a duffel bag containing $4M in diamonds, perps are possibly still in the building, MTN Pct PD are calling for a level one mobilization, ESU and K9 are responding forthwith.

The heist took place just before 1 p.m. on the sixth floor of a building at the gateway to Manhattan’s Diamond District.
No one was injured in the robbery and the thieves escaped. Investigators were still trying to determine exactly what the men stole and how much it was worth, said Detective Kevin Czartoryski, a police department spokesman.
Police were hunting for the suspects and checking to see whether their faces were recorded on security cameras in the building, which is home to several businesses dealing in precious stones
