Boca Raton, FL – Police have a man in custody who, they said, may be responsible for kidnapping, robbing and murdering of women and a child at a Boca Raton Mall last year.

Investigators believe the suspect was responsible in the murder in 2007 of Randi Gorenberg, a 52-year-old wife and mother of two.
Meanwhile the reward for the conviction of the killer stands at $350,000. The cases reached national attention and were even featured on an hour-long TV special of America’s Most Wanted.
the murder of Mrs. Gorenberg stunned the close-knit Jewish community west of Boca Raton.

The arrested man is no longer a person of interest in the Town Center mall cases, police said.
“It’s been ruled out by the photo lineup,” said Boca Raton police spokeswoman Sandra Boonenberg.
