Miami, FL – Police Display Stolen Items To Burglarized Victim

    Miami, FL – Police are returning stolen items to its respective owners, after a man they arrested admitted to ripping people off over a two year span.

    According to the Miami Beach Police Department, all of the items stolen by 44-year-old Antonio Rodriguez, were on the display at the department’s headquarters.

    Rodriguez admitted to have hit at least 33 homes in Miami-Dade. Purses, laptops, jewelry, In all, more than $200,000 dollars worth of stolen goods.

    On Friday, burglary victims were allowed to check if any of the stolen items looked familiar.

    Miami Beach Police cuffed Rodriguez after a routine traffic stop. Rodriguez had a warrant out for his arrest and kept lying to police about his identity. Investigators said it was his girlfriend who ratted him out and told police they could find all the evidence they needed at the Best Western Hotel on Collins Avenue, which was where Rodriguez lived and stored the things he took.

    He’s obviously mentally ill. Why would he steal stuff for years and keep it all? No pawn shops in Miami?
