In a new video campaign posted by the non profit organization Rehabs.com called “More Than Meth: The Faces Of Drug Arrests,” various real drug users are shown in time lapsed photos to portray how not only meth, but other drugs are just as damaging.

Tooth decay, facial sores, extreme weight loss and other physical ailments plague each person. Some of the users are virtually unrecognizable.

One of the photos shown is of Cynthia, age 29, who was arrested for possession of hydrocodone and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. Two-hundred people were asked to guess how many years she had aged. The average guess was 16 years.  Cynthia had actually only aged eight years.

This campaign follows their 2012 campaign “Faces of Meth.”

Powerful disincentive for our children who ‘know everything’ and ‘know what they are doing’.
