Christie has been fighting to recover from a traffic scandal that has deflated enthusiasm among some Republicans over his potential 2016 presidential campaign. But he’s maintained an aggressive travel schedule as chairman of the Republican Governors Association and posted strong fundraising totals.
He pitched bipartisan solutions to the nation’s problems in his appearance with Alexander on Friday, saying, “We’re not going to do it by continuing to have the type of divisive activity you see by some folks in both parties in Washington, D.C.”
This doughboy is toxic, he won’t help anyone win.
