Brooklyn, NY – Gov. Paterson: I Never Understood Crown Heights Riots, But I am Willing To Help. VIDEO

    7

Brooklyn, NY – New York Gov. David Paterson refers for the first time to the crime in Crown Heights’ streets in an interview with COL. “I wasn’t aware that things had gone out of control,” he admitted. “I innocently thought that things were much better. I was surprised to hear that they [Crown Heights residents] were not working well with each other,” he said, and offered his help “so that we don’t come to the misunderstandings of years past.” He said that during the period of upheaval in Crown Heights in 1991 “I was one of the people who didn’t understand, and I’m happy that I learned from it.”

It was not a riot it was a pogrom R’L (government allowed this to happen – did not interfere for 3 days for political expediency)that should be made clear

What about the 911 operators who laughed for days at anyone who called from Crown Heights for help, and then ALL the tapes from those days “tragically” got erased.
