Over 300 NYC dwellers – ranging from ages 8 to 77 – broke the Guinness World Record for most number of people jumping on trampolines at the same time.

Bouncers at Asphalt Green had to continually bounce for a straight five minutes to break the record. If any bouncers fell off, they had three seconds to get back on before being disqualified according to DNAinfo New York (http://dnain.fo/1hJoERs).

Organizers were still short 25 people 20 minutes before the event began, but people convinced friends, family and even strangers waiting for the bus to participate.

A total of 310 bouncers broke the previous record of 302 set in 2012.

הם רצים ואנחנו רצים. הם רצים לבאר שחת …ואנחנו רצים לעשות נחת רוח להקב״ה.
The lesson from this article is “!אם הם – אנו על אחת כמה וכמה”
Let’s set a world record for the most people jumping for joy at Simchat Torah; the most people convincing friends and strangers from bus stops to join in and put on tefillin simultaneously.
