At the 84th-Street Manhattan event, Obama spoke for 15 minutes, then personally thanked all attendees, primarily donors and community activists.

In attendance were Chasidic Williamsburg Jewish-community liaison Abe Friedman, chief adviser to NYS Senator Eric Adams, as well as community leaders representing Rabbi Aron Titelbaum Satmar rabbi of Kiryas Joel, Mr. Moshe Indig NYPD police liaison, and Mr. Isaac Rosenberg Vice President Of Satmar communitys.

VIN has learned that Sen. Obama informed the leaders that he is looking forward to the Jewish community’s support and is looking forward to working hard on Jewish causes.

Obama, a relative unknown, has an uphill battle to win New York’s Jewish community to his side after defeating New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, who has a strong record of achievement for the state and city’s Jewish constituency.

He’s just like all the politicians that promise you anything and try to to make it look good while campaigning so he can win.

Clinton pardoned those skevere guys in order for his wife to win the senate seat in NY.

Although Hillary did a lot of good. You were always able to get some help from her office when needed.

O’bama looks extremely uncomfortable in these photos. Like he’s gonna vomit from nervousness.

He’s probably hoping the community doesn’t see right through him.

What is beautiful to see, is that although there is a split in Satmar, when it comes to the public view, they embrace for the sake of the overall good!! Go Satmar!

Satmar didn’t learn from their mistake when they rallied behind Dinkins.

Here comes another bro’ and demands change. He doesn’t scream as loud as Sharpton, so he sounds more credible.

In the past year there hasn’t been a single issue where he provided any explanation how he would achieve the change that he was promising.

Why would any sane person vote for an empty promise of change? I’ll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge for less!

although obama was the least qualified of the candidates, the yidden who meet with him arent stupid people.

They realize the strong possiblity that he may very welkl end up being the president and understand its important to establish bona fides and a kesher with whomever the elected leaders are goin to be.

Personally i supported Hillary Clinton mainly out of hakoras hatov for all the great good she has done for us and out communityie’s concerns. I am not sure what to do now.

I hate to admit it but this guy is very personable & appealing. We voted for Regan & both Bushs. I don’t things could get much worse in this country. Israel must be permitted to protect its citizens. I may vote for Obama…but his name is Hossain which is very unsettling. McCain looks and sounds horrible.

Why is so proud of his mantra “CHANGE”

Obama is a personal friend and supporter of Rashid Khalidi-although he says its only as friends-Khalidi says its more than that; Bill Ayers is and still remains a friend. Wright is his pastor for 20 years. Malley and Bryzienski are his advisors. This person surrounds himself with terroists, racists, and left wing radicals. If you dont know anything about a person you can tell from who he associates. His congressional record was insane. And any jew who votes for such a person is insane even if McCain is not 100%.

Why does the Der Blatt NOT show the other picture/s? Like Abe Friedman being there as well as Rosenberg and Indig? Are they a news paper or Propeganda paper?? The answer talks for itself.

Abe Friedman is a true leader and looks out for the concerns of the entire jewish Satmar community regardless of which side. He is honest and impartial to all, a real “MENSCH” and I am glad to know him and his family. He is an asset between the police and the community.
