But he was recaptured this past Wednesday when his car had a puncture on the Westway stretch of the A40 in Ladbroke Grove, West London.

Mr S., rumoured to be working as a driver in the London area and using a false passport, had pulled over to change the tyre when police in a passing patrol car stopped to help. He was arrested on a provisional extradition warrant after a routine check of police records revealed the driver to be the fugitive.

On Wednesday he appeared at Westminster extradition court via video-link from Wandsworth Prison, where he is being held in custody.

S., a Ger Chasid, was convicted of raping a boy under the age of 16 in Tel Aviv between April and May 1998 and indecently assaulting a boy under the age of 16 in Tel Aviv between December 1998 and February 1999.

The incidents allegedly took place in his car. He was convicted in 2006 but fled the jurisdiction — not the first time he had gone missing.

S., who used to live in Kiryat Sefer, east of Tel Aviv, was first indicted in 2000 but did not turn up for the trial hearing, and the indictment was cancelled.

Stamford Hill’s Rabbi Avraham Pinter said he was not aware of S. or that he had been hiding in London.

Wow! That’s amazing! I’m sitting here reading this story scratching my head…. How a ‘routine check ‘ yielded all this info without a hitch! In the USA I’ve never heard of them catching someone this way!

I can’t believe what I hear & read. This is the first time you hear about this and you all seem to persume he is guilty. Shame on you! It’s obvious that all of your lashing till now on these types of issues, are just plain hate!

The only thing you know about him is that he was found guilty by a possible anti-chareidy judge in a non-jury trial. You do not know any single fact. How could you judge him without fully investigating. I am inclined to believe that you hate chareidim more than the chilonim hate them.

Loosen up, and start loving your fellow Jew. Then you would persume innocense until proven guilty.

You’re all crazy!! Not one word about the risks this sick man poses to kids, & his victims.

You all stretch yourselves to be Dun L’Kaf Tzchus because he’s “frum” (as if that excuses these acts…look at Mondrowitz), you worry about his name being made public, & straight away you scream “anti-Chareidi Judge”, but you can’t spare a thought for his victim(s).

Guess what?? The victim had to have had a FULL exam & the PROOF of the attack will have been evident. Want to know what that means? Google it.

All “innocent” people skip court and flee the country. Right?

I was being facitious when I wrote it.

the bottom line emes is that there is a double standard.

if a chiloni/zionist/etc. does something, the Oilam thinks it is a mitzva to say bad things about it.

If bad things happen to a chiloni/zionist, then then oilam says it happens because they did avieros.

but if unzer frummers do something, then chalila to name names.

It is a disgusting double standard.

I am the original Anonymous 10:52 here

    Rabinowitz is 100% right.

And we should definitely reveal his name so more people will know to watch out for him when activists get him out. As for his family, I feel bad for them. But I’ll feel worse for victims who didn’t know to watch out for him.

If we can reveal Elior Chen, why not this monster and all others like him that run away when they’re so innocent and convicted?

Don’t ever feel so bads for people who KNOWINGLY stay with such monsters. Even a whiff of suspicion should be enough to send any normal, responsible mother running for her kids’ lives & welfare.

If wives choose to support their husbands they deserve to have the mud stick to them. If there’s no true proof of innocence (eg the accused was in the hospital at the time)that’s a different story. Sorry, but I believe there’s no smoke without fire. I wouldn’t take the chance with my kids or grandchildren.

And to mr.49er…does every sick subject matter make people like you always resort to stupid jokes? If you had any idea the damage these people do to not just their victims, but family, friends etc, you’d think twice before you machen gelechtes.

Point in question: many years ago “Chaimke”, an old & respected friend of my father was accused of “inappropriate touching” some 25 years before! He denied it, denied it, & swore on a stack of Torahs. My father, an Ehrliche, Frum, respected Askan believed his constant protestations of innocence & offered him a lot of public emotional support.

After a couple of years “Chaimke” knew he was going to be indicted. He went to my father & told him the truth. The result: my father, a Tzaddik in his community, voluntarily resigned from all his communal positions & dropped dead of a heart attack a few weeks later.

THINK BEFORE YOU’RE SO QUICK TO MAKE JOKES OR TO BE “CONVINCED” OF SOMEONE’S INNOCENCE. My father never forgave himself for believing in this man, even though he never B”H spoke against the victims. The perp’s wife to this day can’t face my mother even though they still attend the same Shul. She never came near us at Shiva. But in the end she divorced the creep.
