The crazy part is that two cars crossed the double yellow line at a high rate of speed and hit him. I see frum people doing that all the time in Flatbusg and in the Mountains. I hope we can learn from this before C’V something happens.

Logic thats not the crazy part thats the illegal part the crazy part is that no one stopped or went to check on him – about 6-7 cars passed with out flinching the one car that did pull over left after 10 seconds – and the piece of garbage that hit this poor man needs to be locked up and the key needs to be destroyed –

had something like this happened in a jewish neighborhood traffic would be stopped the second it would of happened, people would be running from all side of the street to help

What has America as a society come to?

This would never happen in where I live, in Canada. People here have their faults, but this disgusting show of apathy and selfishness is not one of them.

It appears that the first 2 cars that drove over the yellow line were driving around the SUV that pulled to the right lane.

Later on it seems that the same SUV back up toward an oncoming car that had to drive around it, although not over the yellow line.

Perhaps the whole situation was aggressive driving over the yellow line to escape the aggressive driving of the SUV around which no other drivers could see, and therefore didn’t see the pedestrian.

It also seems like the moped driver that made the U-turn over the yellow line would have stopped and tried to help the pedestrian if the police car had not been fast approaching with sirens to match the blinking lights we see, and on account of which the oncoming cars had likely stopped.

I suspect all we’ll see is aggressive enforcement of cross-walk use on less-busy streets.

Last summer On New Utrecht and 53 there was a man who collpased in the street. I immediately called Hatzolah and while this man was lying in middle of the street cars were going around the patient.

7 cars were all frum drivers and one frum driver actulally told me to get the *&&^^ off the street.

I was in disbelief and yelled at the driver that there is a guy dying in the street. I thought that maybe he just did not realize what was going on but the driver said I do not care and said I am not a hatolah member and yelled at me to move my car which was there to protect the patient from getting hit by cars.

People do not care about anyone else anymore and we live in a sick society.

It’s a real nebach when fellow yidden have to act like cold fish.

of course. any person with a heart would stop & do the maximum they could. race or religion shouldn’t even be an issue
