About midway through the approximately two-and-a-half-hour flight, aides brought still photographers to Obama’s airborne conference room to capture him watching the match. Bowls of chips and other snacks were laid out on the table.

Several top aides watched along with Obama, including senior advisers Valerie Jarrett, who sat beside the president, and Dan Pfeiffer.

The final score came after Obama landed in Minneapolis.

Germany defeated the U.S. 1-0, but both teams advance to the tournament’s next round.

Since everything around the world is just fine and dandy and we here in the USA have no problems whatsoever, what else should Obama do with his free time?

How about Kiryat Joel with a majority on section 8, Neturei Karta gloriously proclaiming of having sent an ambulance to Gaza, how about all the gute frumme Yidden sitting in minor criminal facility in Pennsylvania and of course demanding kusher food. The President only has two more years but the others are a chronic disease

You outrage against the President is correct only he has no dictatorial power to prosecute some of these fine patriots. The Iraqi war cost the tax payer , me included 35 billion dollars. Halliburton where Mr. Dick Cheney is a major holder made 3 billion dollars profit. The fine Republican President proclaimed mission accomplished and the entire region is in a mess. Thousand upon thousands of veterans are maimed and lack care but I am none of them are VIN contributors. The Republican standard bearer said what cannot lose what we achieved , achieved what??? Everyone of you worries about cholent but not a VA hospital

To #18 - The Iraq war did not cost the taxpayers 35 billion dollars. Rather, it cost one trillion dollars!

I must say, there was no exit strategy in Iraq. In fact, it was Saudis who performed 9/11 – and we went into Iraq instead of Saudi Arabia. And guess what? The Saudis are now backing ISIS!!! I think we went into the wrong country. Talk about failed policy.
