Paris – France Says Russia, Ukraine Agree To Work On Ceasefire

Paris – The leaders of Russia and Ukraine have agreed to work on the adoption of a ceasefire in Ukraine as well as the establishment of effective border controls, the French president’s office said in a statement on Monday.

The statement followed a phone conversation between German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Russia’s Vladimir Putin, Ukraine’s Petro Poroshenko and French President Francois Hollande.
