Heeb Magazine (http://bit.ly/1pKfibO) reports a black and white poster showing the words, “Arbeit Macht Frei” (translated to work makes one free) was being sold on Walmart’s website with a description stating the poster would “make a great addition to your home or office.”

The person who found the poster on the website emailed Walmart’s customer service department  and was told the reason why that item was in stock was because Walmart has customers who like to buy “this type of item” but that did not mean Walmart supports ideology related to that item.

Walmart received a second separate complaint and let that person know the issue had been escalated to the upper levels of the corporation.

Walmart issued the following response regarding the poster:

“We were horrified to see that this item was on our site. We sincerely apologize, and worked quickly to remove it. The item was sold through a third-party seller on our marketplace. We have shared our disappointment with them and have learned they are removing the publisher of this item entirely from their inventory.”

Really horrifying. A disease spread by an American Company for an Unhappy Future of the Death Sucking Limited Consumer. Horrible.
