The request comes on the heels of Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz’s (Kadima) recent cancellation of a visit to Kiev, where he was expected to hold talks with local authorities over instituting the so-called open skies policy with regard to air travel with Ukraine.
Mofaz canceled his trip because Kadima’s primary elections are expected to be held this summer.
For anyone that had never exp. a rosh hashana in uman . you should take the opp. this year even a one time deal is worth a million
GOD is in my shul just as well. why should people shlep to uman and spend un necesary money? take the money and support people for yom tov who cant afford anything.
To the second post, the problem is, you were never there so that’s why you can’t understand it. Like post #1 said go, and then talk.
Remember the point is not that god doesn’t hear you from your shul but by YOU being their, that will make you have certain feelings which ultimately will make you daven better…

Is it right that people who don’t pay full tuition , take “scholarship” money , take money from tzedaka travel to Uman on other peoples money? If you have it, go spend it on whatever you want, but I think your children’s tuition comes before traveling to Uman . Being mispallel in your local shul because you don’t have the money to travel without taking Tzedaka money and getting your priorities straight is also a tremendous Zchus and perhaps will cause you to have the proper kavanah in your tefilla wherever you may be
Great idea! And while they’re at it, how about a “reform” so me and some of my friends can spend less go to Vegas without our wives and have a good time there?
I don’t think a few guys in vans are going to be able to demand anything…
If any of them actually worked for a living instead of mooching off the Israeli taxpayer, they could afford a full coach fare.
