Washington – President George W Bush has enlisted British special forces in a final attempt to capture Osama Bin Laden before he leaves the White House.

Defence and intelligence sources in Washington and London confirmed that a renewed hunt was on for the leader of the September 11 attacks. “If he [Bush] can say he has killed Saddam Hussein and captured Bin Laden, he can claim to have left the world a safer place,” said a US intelligence source.

Intelligence on the whereabouts of Bin Laden is sketchy, but some analysts believe he is in the Bajaur tribal zone in northwest Pakistan. He has evaded capture for nearly seven years. “Bush is swinging for the fences in the hope of scoring a home run,” said an intelligence source, using a baseball metaphor.

A Pentagon source said US forces were rolling up Al-Qaeda’s network in Pakistan in the hope of pushing Bin Laden towards the Afghan border, where the US military and bombers with guided missiles were lying in wait. “They are prepping for a major battle,” he said.

The main operations in Pakistan are being undertaken by Delta, the US army special operations unit, and the British SBS.

What? So now that Rambo has failed this fool wants to enlist the help of 007 Bond? James Bond. Oh what fools we were electing this man and his party to run this country. When the bad guys were heading one way “the decider” took the posse in the other direction.

A few years ago I was a mashgiach over pesach w a frum guy who lost his foot while on duty in iraq. He told me that the unit which he was in charge of found tremendous amounts of mustard gas while on patrol. Yet when he reported it to his suprvisors they told him that tthey know but they’re not allowed to tell the press…I think that we did find chemical weapons, found bin laden and prob many other things- but bush wants to leave on a high note…just a though 🙂

Notwithstanding all the conspiracy theorists out there, the we do not have UBL…yet.

When we found Saddam, we announced it immediately; when we find UBL, we will as well.

Isn’t it nice of the media to be tipping him off on the exact plans of his capture? They have been trying to undermine our efforts all along and they’re at it again.

Bush has been in my oppinion a great president. Some mistakes? Yes but everyone does. Overall he has done a great job- because some stupid liberals have decided that he loves war- bla bla bla…doesn’t mean he’s not a great president. By profession I deal a lot with the PR aspect in companies. No matter how good u r u need to SHOW the public that ur good. Bush has done great yet everyone hates him. His only option is to save the things that he has done which even the morons of the world will approve of for right before he leaves office. For the record; I am soooo not a conspiracy theroist. 🙂

Most of the us is not very bright. On the contrary- stupid. If he has record high disapproval- shouldn’t that mean he’s doing a good job? These same people who curse him out curse out israel as well…should we abolish israel??

“worst president ever starving for a legacy.”

Worst ever — NOT BY A LONG SHOT! How about Mr. Malaise himself, Jimmy “The Dhimmi” Carter, who pulled the rug out from the reliable pro-Western, pro-US ally, the Shah of Iran (who also had a decent relationship with Israel too, even selling it oil), justifying this with a pompous, self-righteous little speech about “human rights” — paving the way for the Shah’s old enemy, Ayatollah Khomeini, yimach shmo, to take over Iran and establish a Muslim dictatorship 10 times worse than the Shah’s regime — one we are stuck with and that will continue to cause trouble for us for a long time to come? Jimmeh then let Khomeini humiliate America for 444 days after the illegal seizue of our embassy and kidnapping of our personnel there, doing nothing to free them.

Or how about Bill Clinton — who had numerous opportunities to kill or capture bin Laden while he had not yet retreated to the underground cave of Tora Bora but AFTER he had already declared a “fatwa” against America and had begun bombing our embassies and military installations abroad?Somehow, Bill ALWAYS found excuses not to do so, frittering away those opportunities in endless windy talkfests with the lawyers from the State, Justice and Defense departments, and ALWAYS finding excuses not to get him WHEN WE COULD HAVE GOTTEN HIM EASILY. In a rare moment of candor after leaving office, Bill even at one point ADMITTED he had fouled things up by not getting bin Laden when he could have — though now he claims that he “mispoke” and never really meant any such thing. Weasel. And while all this was going on, he was cutting the size of the U.S. military and intelligence establishment, to get his hands on the post-Cold War “peace dividend” so he could spend it on social programs popular with key Democrat electoral constituencies. And speaking of a “legacy,” he was forever interfering in Israel’s elections, trying to get “peace” candidates like Rabin, Peres and Barak elected that he could arm-twist into making suicidal concessions to the “Palestinians” in hopes of getting a phony Munich-like “peace” agreement signed on the White House South Lawn, so he could maybe get a Nobel Prize and be remembered as a statesman, diplomat and peacemaker rather than as the philandering, impeached lounge lizard that he actually was, and still is.

    Annonymous 5:26

I agree one hundred percent. The people who are the real doers in this world will never get the proper credit. Clinton was actually the one who’s doing messed up the economy now and as 5:26 said failed to get bin laden. Today the issue ina nutshell with the economy is the mortgage crisis. When that happens that leads to a real estate crisis. When that happens the finacials which fund them go bust. Now WHEN did this issue begin? That’s right not under bushs watch but under the man whom the world thinks is a hero bill clinton. And you know what that should say somethin if the man who has “general approval” really screwed everything up then mayb just mayb the man who has “general disapproval” maybe is actually doing good but we may not appreciate the work he’s done for a few years or maybe never. Ever think what couldve happened had we not invaded iraq? Afghanistan? Well we may never know but one thing is for sure we wouldve had a lot to say..” He had the chance” etc etc and everyone know that’s what they wouldve said. So you know what? Stop being a liberal for one min and look   what he’s done and you’ll see that george bush is doin everything because he belives in it. Not to get “general approval” or a legacy. Because its right.

5:26 couldnt be more 100% INCORRECT.

The Oslo accord was done in secret in Norway by rabin and peres with arafat and abbas.

They came and dumped it in clintons lap. clinton was a doing what they wanted. dont rewrite history that we were all alive to see.

Come on, the guy’s bones are buried in some cave, they’ll never find him. And Bush was right 6 years ago when he said finding OBL is not a priority. The priority is stopping the terrorists who are planning the next attack, not finding the ones who planned the last one. Bush has disabled al Qaeda, he decimated it in Afghanistan, he defeated it in Iraq, he has much to be proud of, but finding bin Laden’s bones would just be icing on the cake.
