Jerusalem – Economy Minister Naftali Bennett said Monday that the murderers of Palestinian teen Muhammad Abu Khdeir should be treated like terrorists.

Bennett’s comments came after six Jews were arrested for the murder, which a security official said is suspected of being a nationalistically motivated crime.
“Abu Khdeir’s murder is a heinous act that is anti-moral and anti-Jewish,” Bennett said.
Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid commented on recent developments in the murder of Arab teen Muhammad Abu Khdeir, saying “We should all be ashamed of ourselves…Israel cannot let slide the disgusting murder of an innocent Arab youth by Jewish killers.”
“There is no difference between blood and blood,” he continued, urging law enforcement to take firm action against the perpetrators.
“Attempts by extremists to take the law into their own hands harms the fabric of life in Israel, our international interests and our war against terror,” Lapid said.
