The unknown duo were dressed in sunglasses, baseball caps, khakis and matching green golf shirts when they gave Gayle Kilburn a $100 bill as she filled up her car at a Citgo in Plainville.
They also handed her a card that read “Re-Fueling Our Community” and was signed “The Gas Men.”
Kilburn says she was stunned by the gesture and at first thought it was a stunt with Monopoly money. She later realized it was real cash and used it to fill her tank.
She said the Gas Men also helped five or six other customers.
i wish he comes to new york.
i need fill my tank it cost aprx. $75 $25 for gros.
Something is fishy. Anyone who gives out free money means that its fake or its not his own. Fact in life, easy come – easy go.
“GAS MEN” doent make a very good headline to depict this story! 🙂

So your saying when you or others give tzedakah it is either fake or not your own?
Anon 9:36 Please dont confuse this with Tzedakah. One is for a worthy and noble cause, the other for a shtus. This reflects on the person giving it.

How did you all miss this- Those men are connected with Hugo Chavez. CITCO- folks. Next time pay attention to detail. Chavez has done this before, such as giving away cash subsidies for fuel oil for cold homes, etc. It is Not tzedakah of any sort, it is political to make us look bad. Nice if you happen to be lucky to get the $ at the time, but a Venezuela CITCO stunt. I wouldnt have posted anything if the article had said “Shell” station or did not mention brand name-But the Citco connection should be obvious
where’s my money $100 does’nt fill my tank. $200 is more like it.
