According to WINS Radio (http://cbsloc.al/1jZW9e4 ), it happened around noon Monday.
Police say the woman pushed the baby’s stroller onto the platform when the northbound No. 1 train arrived at the Columbus Circle station. Then she got back onto the train.
The baby is thought to be about 10 months to a year old. She was examined at Roosevelt Hospital. Police say there were no apparent signs of trauma.
Idiot!
She could have legally dropped him off at a Police-station (or church or hospital, I think,) without now possibly face charges.
I hope she’s swiftly found and placed in either a Mental-institution, or prison.
No. 1. That is uncalled for. A woman deep in the throes of untreated depression cannot think logically, the whole world feels like a thick fog and even planning to take a baby to a specific place can be impossible. Don’t judge until you have been there.
Poor kid! My heart goes out for this baby. I’m ready to adopt this poor shefale.
I am glad the baby was not abandoned in a hot car but left where it would attract attention and be taken care of.
To #1 How do you know its a boy?
I thought that we had major security at subways to prevent terrorist attacks. Why wasn’t this woken picked up on surveillance? You mean to say all the billions spent on security can’t capture a mom leaving a carriage yet is supposed to track a terrorist leaving a bomb? I’m not feeling very safe this morning.
as per the news this morning, mother was found.
