Attorneys Bruce Raticoff and Gary Sheres were terminated reports CBS Miami (http://cbsloc.al/1xPsTyO).
Facebook posts on July 2 by the two men referred to Palestinians as “filthy swine” and “cockroaches.”
In response to a Facebook post that alleged Palestinians were celebrating over the kidnapping and murder of Israeli teens, Sheres commented, “They are the filthy swine. They don’t eat. Their ignorance to the world bewilders the dumbest people I have ever met.”
Raticoff’s Facebook icon showed a comment later that said, “That’s why the Palestinian people are considered the cockroaches of the world. Reprehensible and despicable with utter disregard for civility and humanity. Burn them to the ground.”
Raticoff says the comment was not made by him, but by a female relative. Sheres defends his comment by saying that he was writing about Palestinians who kill or celebrate murders.
The Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Florida) requested an investigation one day after the posts.
where have we come to? we mustn’t hurt the feelings of those who have no problem terrorizing all over the world, murdering and murdering and murdering innocent people
CAIR= muslim brotherhood. I dont understand why america listens to them
Good job Howard Finkelstein chief Public Defender.
We support you. You stand by your comments you made regarding vile creatures that celebrate death and for that you are a hero!
What exactly did they say wrong, I’m not getting it?
We live in a fascist country.
Ive seen many comments on facebook by muslims advocating for hitler, bottom line be careful on your facebook comments
Anybody that celebrates the murder of 3 innocent teenagers are filthy swine and cockroaches. If there are any Jewish organizations in Broward County that can use a couple of attorneys, please give them a look.
Maybe the comment “Burn them to the ground” is excessive though. They maybe should have been more specific in their comments and delineates those that celebrate and dance upon hearing news of death.
The truth hurts? Who would have figured!
