On Friday Erdogan accused Israel of state terrorism and genocide and saying the two countries will not mend ties on his watch.

Psaki, said the department believes Erdogan’s statements are “offensive and wrong.”

“And, of course, this kind of provocative rhetoric is unhelpful and distracts from urgent efforts to bring about a cease-fire,” she said.

War Rule #1 : Know thy enemy.
Sometimes the enemy announces the animosity unprovoked – as is case with Erdogan.

Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz (Likud) hit back at Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday, after the latter accused Israel of attempting a “systematic genocide” of Palestinian Arabs in Gaza, in his strongest attack yet on the Jewish state over self-defense campaign Operation Protective Edge.

In a post on his Facebook page, Katz reminded Erodgan of the Armenian Genocide, when in 1915 more than a million Armenians were murdered by Ottoman troops.

To all the היימישער bigots out there:

The fact that my posts upset you so much is the proof of your cowardly racism! The mere fact that when it comes to President Obama, you all haven’t the slightest scintilla of objectivity, shows that כח אחר מעורב בו. And, we all certainly know what that כח אחר is, even though you’re too cowardly to admit it! Cowards!
