The State Department said Kerry would leave early Monday for Egypt where he will join diplomatic efforts for a truce.

Cairo has offered a cease-fire plan that is backed by the U.S. and Israel. But Hamas has rejected the Egyptian plan and is relying on governments in Qatar and Turkey for an alternative proposal.

Qatar and Turkey have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, which is also linked to Hamas but banned in Egypt.

More than 430 Palestinians and 20 Israelis have been killed over the last two weeks.

Stay home, mr. Kerry. You’re not wanted or needed. Go talk to the terrorists all you want, but leave Israel to finally finish the job once and for all.

Concerned that according to this report Israel agrees to this ceasefire. The fallen were in vain , if the ultimate goal of totally eradicating Hamas and its weaponry with tunnels will be stopped in the middle of the job. Mr. Kerry—-Are you willing to send American troops to help the Israelis “CLEAN HOUSE” in Gaza???? If not , then let the IDF complete their mission….Otherwise , their fallen were in vain and the innocent citizens of Israel will continue to live in terror in the near future (after Hamas rearms itself). The status quo cannot stay….Any ceasefire that does not completely guaranty Israel’s safety for the future is futile and must be REJECTED….Mr. Kerry—if the USA would be the recipient of what Israel has been going thru , would you ceasefire with your sworn enemies?? Definitely not . The US army would totally eradicate the enemy , so let Israel finish the job. And if you are not happy with how long it’s taking , then send troops to help Israel achieve their goal quicker!!!!!!

the reason they want a cease fire is because to many arabs are killed this happens all the time when Israel is nearing its goal they are stopped in their tracks it would be stupid for them to stop before totally reaching their objectives.

Is that the policy of the USA – to negotiate with terrorist? Will the USA negotiate a ceasefire with Al qaeda, no – so why would they propose negotiating with Hamas????

sadly israel twice accepted the cease fire but Hashem knows better and made sure that Hamas broke it forcing Israel to break it as well, let us hope Hashem continues to guide us the right way
