    New York, NY – New rent increases are on the way for New York City over the next two years.

    The New York Rent Guidlines Board increases NYC rents by 4.5 percent for all one year leases and 8.5 percent for all two year leases.

    The minimum increase for one-year rent-stabilized leases is $45, and $85 for two-year rent-stabilized leases.

    There are about one million apartments in New York City– mostly in Manhattan– that are rent stabilized.

    They nuts how that increase going to pay for 6 dollar oil – bankrupt landlords in the future unless increases increased
