Traffic is backed up all the way to the Harlem River Drive at East 152nd Street.
Now had it been the Battery Tunnel, that would be real news….
ok but b”h it wasnt:)
I don’t understand, trucks aren’t supposed to be on the Harlem River Drive (FDR) at all? And again these trucks come there all the time, they strike that low underpass frequently (I wonder how that underpass is still on its place with so many accidents…) Why can’t they make proper signs or put some police there to watch that trucks shouldn’t be there? Also, fine those truck drivers with heavy fines, so everyone will know that its no game here.
Don’t worry, I’m sure the driver will be charged with battery.
I always love watching those trucks rip their roofs off after slamming into the elevated subway tracks in flatbush. Im surprised the Ave J Q station is still holding up.
