The time for us to make Aliyah is near. Yidden will be blamed for everything. I just hope we can get out before they have a chance to reenact Kristallnacht. If I am labeled as an alarmist so be it, but I would rather take my chances in Israel. In the mind of the average goy the Jew has all the money, never mind that many Jews live below the poverty level. Never mind that without the Jew, thw world would still be struggling with polio or any number of other diseases etc, etc.

Okay people, lets all take a deep breath and not start hyperventilating. Remember, the sky is not falling unless you convince yourself that it is.

We should take note that this isn’t the first time the economy has taken a hit – and that the Jews are getting blamed for it.

Remember when the dot-com bubble burst a few short years ago? It was because of the Jews!

How about the huge recession in the 80s? Or the oil crisis in the 70s? Yup, blame the Jews?

When LBJ was president in the 60s, guess who people blamed for causing the Vietnam war and sending the American nation into a disastrous tailspin? (Hint: it rhymes with ‘news’!).

Bottom line? The Jews will always be blamed when the financial weather forecast get stormy and times get rough.

But we are not being led to the gas chambers or sent to concentration camps. There are no death marches or mass executions. Let’s not work ourselves into a full-blown, self-induced panic attack.

We must stay focused and not let the (Jewish) media sensationalize this with negative headlines that throw us all into a nervous tizzy.

Granted, it’s true that the economy is hurting right now. Here’s what we can do about it:

We must daven and learn with all our hearts. We, as yidden, must stick together now, more then ever. And together, with achdus, we WILL get through this crisis as well.

“comments – arrow WORLD WIDE MAJOR RECESSION AND BARAK OBAMA PRESIDENT ”

What a stupid stupid comment, It is the Republicans and their misguided policies that have brought us here. This war in Iraq is bleeding us. And like FDR Obama will lead us out of this mess and back to solid prosperity.

Zoltan, you are delusional and obviously dumb enough to buy into propoganda and a good politician playing a good game. You are one of those who will vote blindly for someone based on nothing but what they tell you.

Just who is paying for the war? A trillion dollars spent and for what? Bush and the Republicans have borrowed to pay for it. Now look where we are. It is going to have to be paid for someday. And what about all that cheap Iraqi oil we were going to get out of if. Bush is the only one I see walk around holding the Royal Saudi’s hands. I will no longer drink my parties Kool-aid I vote dem this time let them have a go of it.

    Very interesting.

Everyone here seems to be worried about the money and the anti-semitism of this local golus.

A few points to bear in mind:

    1. Historically the Muslims have had periods of radical rise. The Rif, Rambam and etc all had to flee their home country because of the radical Almohads who struck terror for centuries. (Read Codex Judaica summary of history.) Later the Church became enemy #1 , but today the are lemelech as far as physical danger. It’s the Islamo’s stupid. Not the economy.

    2. Aha. So Barak Hussein Obama will be the redeemer? Or flee into Ehud’s arms? (No difference Ehud Olmert or Barak.)

    3. AL Quaida and the radical Shi’ites have lost their shirts in Bush’s war. The NYT won’t tell you – but so long as they are not reporting bad stuff you know it’s gotta be good.

    4. Clinton vetoed the bill to drill (in Alaska.) So Bush has to kiss some Arab Sheiks and we have a serious inflation problem. Obama says we can’t drill fast enough – we need to look at alternative energies (which he will develop immediately with a lightning flash – Barak.) So here we go for inflation (which every hrewd investor knew was overdue after so many years of none.) Did you know that inflation can make you wealthy? Borrow $100K at 6% and in five years you will be paying back about the equivalent of $50K (if inflation is as serious as many think it will be.)

    5. But I digress. Islamo’s will want to kill. YES. KILL. Leshem Shomayimom. WHO? The Jew. So where is Jabotinsky now? No one listened to him in the 30’s when he (as a brilliant orator) was pleading for yidden to leave Europe. Now it is different. Future wars will not be ground wars – army against army. It will be bomb’s (nuclear, chemical, etc.) A bomb on (or in) a heavily populated area… Kill. Kill. Big Kill.

    6. Do you care to make an international list (just in your imagination please) of all those heavily populated Jewish areas? It gives a whole new meaning to the term “sitting ducks.”

    7. The solution? To go to Israel which is already soaking rockets daily? Middle America. Sure Rubashkin is a “cowboy” – after all he deals with behemois in trhe herds – but he made a whole community (kehilla) in Postville Iowa. Can you find it on the map? Will Islamo’s go looking for a few hundred families here and there?

    8. This is not a call for flight. Nor for fight. It is a wake up reality note. The shopping centers are packed (the doomsayers will tell you because so many people are unemployed they have time to go shopping. Oy vi zey fardreyen a mayseh just to create dissatisfaction – and to launch their new savior. B. Hussein Obama.

“U.S. stocks tumbled, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average to its worst June since the Great Depression,”

Who is the &*# ! idiot that wrote this line?

And who is the &*# ! idiot that believes that this democrat inspired propaganda pushing for a democrat win in November. Zoltan is obviously one, it looks like everybody else here is a little smarter. Tell me, half the country is unemployed? There are breadlines in every major city? I think not. The American economy may not always surge 10% a month, but this is a really big country with a really powerful economy, threatened mainly by the leftist media, not production in china and Mexico.

From Dec 99 to Jun 99 The market lost more 1000

under Bill Clinton! It was Sept 06 before the market returned to that peak. But nobody talks about it because Clinton was a democrat.

July 02 to Sept 02 the market fell 800 points

    By November it recovered.

From Dec 02- Feb 03 the Market fell 1000 points.

By June 03 it had recovered.

When George W. was elected, the media started moaning recession, recession. He wasn’t even in office yet and hadn’t enacted any policy that could effect the stock market. When he was elected they screamed recession, but the market refused to collapse. After nine months there was the 9-11 attack the market fell briefly, in just six weeks the Dow was higher than pre 9-11.

The economy doesn’t just go away because the newspaper says it did.
